Ikonikos 1.6.4 - critical update |

Hello everyone, while working on the new Ikonikos release, I noticed the stable branch had some serious bugs introduced when I made the program internally simpler. This release fixes the following bugs: - Fixes the language chooser window, that was not being shown by default if this program was not started by the first time.
- Fixes a bug where message strings were not being properly translated.
This release fixes a bug introduced in version 1.6 of Ikonikos, where a bug in the filter window prevented the filter to work with labels.
I recomend you to upgrade, specially if you downloaded version 1.6.3. I decided this release was not good enough due to its bugs and deleted it from the repository. In addition, to offer you a better experience, I also brought back version 1.5.5 as an option in case you ever find a critical bug in this release. Your feedback is very important. At last, the new release of Ikonikos is out. It includes:
- All the bugfixes of the previous release;
- Faster image rendering;
- Smooth image previewing, even with very heavy images;
- Multi-language support (for now, Brazilian Portuguese and Macedonian are supported);
- Language autodetection, if it is supported;
- Now the wheel can be used to browse in the labels and image name section!
There are binaries for Windows and Linux, as usual, and I might create a 64-bit binary in the future.
This new release will come in the future, with:
- image renaming when it's already in the database;
- full-screen image previewing (with a single image);
- and more may come.

Hey guys. I'm here to talk about the surprises of the new big release. It will include: slideshow controls and Ikonikos will store your photos by alphabetical folder order as well, so it'll be more integrated with your operating system. There may be more surprises ahead... stay tuned, Developer. |
